Busy week I tell you, but a fun one it has been! This week I started the ultra sound part of breeding season I really like this part as seeing all the new little foals on the screen that will arrive next year always seems amazing. Plus I get the most hands on time with foal you can imagine. I halter the foals and they go right along with mom its a riot to see all the minds at work in new places for the most part a fun thing! Well we took 6 so far and 5 are confirmed pregers YEA! Only one foal hated the stall in front of mom but once lights were killed like all the rest she just stood and absorb everything in stride. I had two maidens this week that always gives me the nerves for a wee bit, never know what your going to have one do the first time around, but both very good so I was proud of them. Found out one foal is heading to Washington state to a real show home so exciting. I going to use a fellow horse persons concept and do a adjoining sale blog, try to get that up soon. Anyhow long winded and tired so off to bed. The picture is of colt going to Washington state we call him Rebel but his new mom is calling him Sexy..
